(clarinet player): "The march was
amazing".
Josh
(trumpet player) summed it up in one
word: "Awesome". The band sounded really
great - and the reaction from the crowd
was just brilliant. They clapped and
cheered, and at times joined in with the
music as they clapped us along
main-street.
Jack
(alto sax player) said "Marching in
front of the Disney Parade was a great
experience for every member of the
band".
Lewis
(trumpet player) added: "It is an
experience that I will not forget" For
me, the atmosphere and the crowd's
reaction as we played "Don't Stop
Believin'" at the top of Main Street,
with the Disney Castle behind us, was
electric and I've never heard the band
play so well despite the pressure of the
occasion.
Katie
(flute player) said: "This was my best
holiday EVER!" What is without doubt is
that all the members of the band were
superb ambassadors for Scouting and
Guiding in Claygate and they gave a
superb performance to a massive, massive
audience. |

I was lucky enough to be in the original
band 20 years ago and am now
experiencing the Band as an instructor.
I have never been so proud of the young
performers and what they have achieved
during this trip to Disney. I can
honestly say that the memories will stay
with them and me forever. The members
are what make the Band special and
unique and it shows that they have the
potential to do anything.
