Remembrance Sunday Parade
9th November 2014

  "They shall grow not old
as we that are left grow old,
  age shall not weary them
  nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
  and in the morning,
  we will remember them."
  "When you go home
tell them of us and say,
  for your tomorrow
  we gave our today."

1st Claygate Scout & Guide Band lead the Remembrance Sunday Parade in Claygate
.
This years Remembrance Sunday Parade took place on Sunday 9th November and the band led the parade from Hare Lane to the Holy Trinity Church in Church Road. This year marked the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War and after the 2 minutes silence, at 11am, the names of the 44 men who are named on the Claygate First World War memorial were read out. This was followed by a short All Age Service inside the church.
