This years Claygate Christmas lights took place on Saturday 4th December and thousands of villagers turned out despite the wet weather. As well as the band there was entertainment from the Thames Valley Morris Men, Claygate Primary School Choir, Rowan Preparatory School Choir and the Soul Runners. This years lights were turned on by Francoise Pascal, star of the 1970's TV show Mind your Language and Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood. The afternoon finished with a spectacular fireworks display.
