The day of the parade had arrived and you could feel the excitement building over breakfast. Instruments and uniforms were loaded onto the coaches, then checked and double checked to make sure nothing was forgotten. A quick briefing, coaches boarded, a final headcount and we were off.
The parade wasn't until the afternoon so this allowed plenty of time to explore the park and the many attractions. Whilst many of the younger ones headed for 'Space Mountain' & 'Big Thunder Mountain' some of the slightly older ones took a pleasant trip on the 'Disneyland Railroad' which circumnavigates the park.
2.55pm arrived and band members could be seen heading to our meeting point from all parts of the park. A quick headcount, all present and correct and now after 9 months of planning this was it.
