On Saturday 8 May the band took part in the first ever Kingston Borough Bands Tattoo. The event took place at Tolworth Recreation Centre and saw 8 bands from Surrey & South London take part. Each band performed a 20 minute display and the afternoon culminated in a massed bands performance involving all 8 bands. One of the bands members, Katie, was singled out by the Major of Kingston to receive an encouragement award for a young musician showing great commitment to their band and to the event.
