This years Remembrance Sunday Parade took place on Sunday 9th November and the band led the parade from Hare Lane to the Holy Trinity Church in Church Road. This year marked the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War and after the 2 minutes silence, at 11am, the names of the 44 men who are named on the Claygate First World War memorial were read out. This was followed by a short All Age Service inside the church. |
