A very warm welcome on behalf of the 1st Claygate Scout Group to the Summer Fete, which has been reinstated on the group calander after a number of years absence. Fetes are a traditional part of an English summer and where else could provide a more appropriate backdrop than at the Scout centre. |

We have the traditional items such as the 1st Claygate Scout & Guide Band, fresh from their wonderful performance at the St George's day parade in Windsor Castle, and other activities such as tent pitching, tent peg relay races and dough sticks. |

The Scout Centre and its grounds are expected to be jam packed with many other stalls, so hopefully something for everyone to enjoy. There will be a beer tent and a BBQ throughout the afternoon. |

Many thanks to the Fete Committee and all the helpers who make the day possible and also thanks for the support from local businesses who have kindly placed adverts in our programme. |
